Our Story
Founded by Teklay Tesfalem, the journey behind the brand is rooted in discipline, resilience, and real-life experience. From working as a registered nurse for several years, to gaining hands-on experience in retail, logistics, and customer service, every step contributed to a deeper understanding of people, responsibility, and perseverance.
After moving to Canada, Teklay began working in warehouse operations before building and operating a grocery and produce business in Toronto for five years. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the business was later closed, leading him to transition into transportation. Through these experiences, he developed strong business discipline, adaptability, and a commitment to long-term growth, while traveling across Canada and the United States and gaining a broader perspective on life, work, and opportunity.
Alongside this journey, creativity remained constant. Through music and songwriting inspired by real-life experiences, and a growing passion for design, the vision for Million Actions Wear Co. began to take shape.
